Making a new thread

Given the amount of people who ask how to make a new thread, would you be able to put a button on the top of the front page for people to use? Perhaps a drop down menu for the appropriate forum.

Alternately, how about a button which links to 'how to make a new thread' instructions?

If they can't figure out how to make a new thread, they probably won't be able to find the button to help them either.
