Due to technology in this generation, porn is much more accessible than it ever was in the past. Walking into a video store, getting asked for ID to rent an adult film and having to do the walk of shame is passé. With a click of a button on your computer, iPhones etc you are in a world of millions of porn from kiddie, to beastiality and everything in between. Teen idols such as Paris Hilton and Kim kardashian do not set great examples either since they have porn vids out, yet it's glamorized in the media. When once upon a time, something like this would kill careers, in this day and age it's the best publicity for a media icon. So although you may be older and back in your days such explicit pornos weren't really around, your gf may be much younger and in her generation she may have been desensitized from anal and jizz on face etc.
same analogy applies to violence in the media in this generation compared to previous ones. Kids now a days don't even bat an eyelash when they see blood and killing on tv due to the amount of violence on shows and video games etc. The newer generation has become desensitized to sex and violence due to media. And what sells the most? Go figure...Sex and violence. What you need to be concerned about is bringing up a daughter in an age where posting slutty drunken pics on FB and photoshopping sexy pics of your tits and sending it to your bf via text. Just had a 15 year old girl commit suicide here due to an ex bf posting on the web her naked pics that she sent to him when she was 14.
