This girl is soo confused right now. She needs to figure out herself whether she wants you or him. I don't think its fair for you to have to suffer through a pretend friendship with her. Its too bad, she lives with you...kicking her out right away seems a bit harsh. Maybe give her a month or so to decide what she wants...if she doesn't want you...tell her to move in with the other guy.

BTW - I think you did an excellent job handling this the first time around. Good job setting limits.

I don't think staying by her side will solidify the relationship, she will just continue having this fantasy over and over again. I think you need to bite the bullet and take her up on her offer to leave you and be with this guy and experience it for herself. Only, if she does that you won't take her back. She's free to leave, but not free to come back. This is what I would say to her.
