I want to become more knowledgeable. What should I start first with?

Read philosophy. Knowledge for its own sake is useless. Draw your own conclusions from the ideas you read. Someone else's context won't be yours.

fwiw, I never took a formal philosophy course (or any arts except music) in my life. But I read widely. That is key.
