I want to see Trainwreck - I think we get it mid August.
Got to check to make sure, I want to see it first night out.
I saw Trainwreck with my GF and another couple it wasn't that funny -- not to say you won't find it funny as hell. Also it was too long for a comedy.
Beauty and The Beast with Emma Watson
( in theaters March )
I saw Trainwreck, just to update like any one cares but :D
Was funny, I liked their chemistry in it to. I have Gfs like her character, it isn't far fetched.
Hey thanks for the update on the Trainwreck situation megvoh! :)
Star Wars: Episode VII
I'm a boy.
LOL! Hey it wasn't a bad movie for what it was. I wouldn't buy the DVD copy of it but if it came on the telly I'd watch it again :D
I like Harry Potter over Star Wars for fantasy movies.
Flat out hated it. Never understood how people even stay awake for potter movies.
I'll take a mindless bond movie or LOTR re-runs over HP any day.
Boo! *roars the crowd* lol
LOTR's is good too, just haven't seen any SW's before, have seen some batman movies. ( those are fantasy too)
Meh...crowds are overrated. lol
You did *NOT* just say you've never seen a SWsess.s! Quick delete that blasphemy before someone else sees it! I'll provide cover!
There's one called The Final Girls. A horror spoof I want to see.
Has anyone else seen spots for the movie Crimson Peak. If you enjoy Gothic Horror movies it looks extraordinary.
I've seen it and enjoyed it. I thought it would make me jump more than it did but still was beautifully shot and acted.

There is also one about the suicide forest that got panned at some festival I still want to see it's called The Sea of Trees.
There is another horror movie shot at that suicide forest too I think and it's just called the forest. Has lady gaga's beloved in it.

I'd like to see the new Tina Fey movie called ~ Sisters.
The Dressmaker with Kate Winslet.
Me too ~ saw a clip trailer of it awhile back~ Looks good to me & she can really act same as Cate Blanchett so all their movies turn out well.
i can't wait to see the brothers grimsby it looks really funny.
Shit, yes -- Exeter. That movie looks funny AF. Definitely surpassing that lame Dictator one he gave us.
How to be single. It looks funny.
Horror movie ~ The Boy
Looks weirdly awesome & original & dumb but I want to see it.
They are doing a remake of The Jungle Book. I'd enjoy watching this.
Batman v Superman and Hail, Caesar!

I was not too keen on the particular women cast..... but now that I've seen the preview I've got to say I am actually a little more enthusiastic about the new Ghostbusters movie. My main concerns were that I don't really like Melissa McCarthy, and I find Kristen Wiig annoying in about half the things in which I've seen her. However, at least in what we've seen so far in the previews, neither of them bothered me in the slightest. They were more subdued, so to speak.
Not only that, but I actually thought it looked okay. I don't know if I'd say "good," but it looked okay. When it comes right down to it, as long as what we are given isn't terrible, then it falls under the category of I'd rather get something new in the franchise I love rather than to get nothing at all.
So.... I'm actually becoming a little excited to give the new Ghostbusters movie a chance. Believe me, I am never the kind of person who cannot admit when he was wrong.... and if this winds up being good it will be one time I will be happy to be wrong.
^ Good on the slight turn around on that movie. Her movie The Boss looks funny. I think you just adore the original so might be hard for you to see a need for a reboot of Ghostbusters.
It's not really JUST that. I don't love the idea of a reboot, but I don't hate it either. For me, again, the main concern was in who they cast. As a matter of fact, no offense, but "The Boss" is a GREAT example of why I was NOT happy to hear she'd been cast. Looks funny to you, and A LOT of other people, so to each his/her own.... However, that movie does NOT look funny in the slightest to me and is an example of why I don't find Melissa McCarthy funny. That's the kind of Melissa McCarthy I was expecting in the new Ghostbusters....
But, instead it seems like we are getting a more subdued Melissa McCarthy. A more Ghostbusters-appropriate Melissa McCarthy. Ghostbusters was goofy, sure, but it was more of a subtle humor than her typical stuff. From what little we've seen in the trailers, I wouldn't say the style of humor is 100% spot-on, but it still feels Ghostbusters appropriate to me. So, I'm actually excited to see how it turns out.
Wasn't original at all I was disappointed in it ~ was same old shit they force feed us :[ If it was what it pretended to be it would have been a good interesting movie. Others liked it though, wasn't as good as I wanted it to be.Quote:

LOL! You quoted yourself. :D
You know, funny thing is there were apparently two different movies called "The Boy" out right around the same time. Were you talking about the one where the family treats a doll like a real child or something like that? I thought that looked interesting too, so if that is the one you are talking about, I am disappointed to hear it was maybe not that good.
TheEvilJester ~ Yes, same movie the one that they make you think is a doll possessed by the spirit of a dead boy ( concept was cool ) but movie was a meh once it went through the movie & reveal. Marketing geniuses for doing the trailer as they did I am sure it raked in more money from people like me wanting to see THAT movie, & not as much the one it actually was. I might be hard on it because I was disappointed by the reveal but others who saw it with me still enjoyed it. :\
I may give it a shot just to see for myself. Though, what you say kind of makes me think I'll be disappointed too. Still, sometimes you just have to see for yourself. For example, that new Fantastic Four movie they put our recently.... it looked TERRIBLE. From all accounts I had heard, it was TERRIBLE. I was almost 100% sure it was going to be TERRIBLE..... but I wanted to see for myself anyway.
And, believe it or not, surprise surprise.....
It was TERRIBLE! LOL! Sometimes things that look bad can surprise you and actually wind up being okay or even good. This was NOT one of those times. Though, I am still glad I at least found that out for myself.
the movie : the nice guys
independence day : resurgence
