Where the Ancient Tree faded away,
Stood a lonely house, gray.
And by that house was a hill,
Where the sunflowers grew.

Was a field of green grass
And above, the sky blue.
It sounds like paradise,
I wish it were too
But I regret, it is not
Out spills the truth

There was an old man who lived there

Was mean every day.

He used to hurt me
And the sky was stained red
And once he choked me
The green grass is dead.

We live there no longer
But sometimes, we drive by there
