This poem was originally called, "will you be my friend"... but the final version sounded way too 'needy'... so i flipped the words, and now it's call... I will be your friend. It's pretty short, just a bunch of fragmented thoughts that i put together, pretty scrappy too.
I can be your friend...
Don't pay me for my time
I may not be a gem
Or a diamond in the rough
But I'll try my best
For you too like me
I hope you'll be my friend
I'll brake your fall
Just give me a call
I hope you'll be my friend
EDIT... i like it, only because it could so easily be about a hooker, OR just a regular person thinking about someone else... (not to say hookers are not regular people)... but you get what i mean!
