Well my fellow cyber space anonymous chums, I am off to the hospital today. Been procrastinating for some time and today, without telling my sweetheart, I packed a bag, brought some books, change of clothes and off I go. Hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about but the last time I felt this way and sensed something was wrong, then procrastinated, I nearly lost an eye and had a thing the size of a small grapefruit in my head. Strange how we avoid things. Well not this time, at least, today is the day.
We'll see what they say. Lower down the issues are on the ol body but symptoms have been present for about 2 years. Yes, when I procrastinate I go all the way. ha.
Anyway, if I'm not back tomorrow that means they admitted me. I just want to f ind out what's happening to me.

so that's my day. Their expecting me in an hour. wish me luck
always kindly, woody=trees

Well it must have worked so thank you kindly for that. Yah, got there, got admitted, poked and prodded, made the Dr's laugh (always good to try) got some nice Doc's but yeah, they couldn't find anything wrong with what was concerning me. Felt a little silly but was assured that I did the right thing. So, great! a relief; now if i could only figure out why I have pain. tee hee.
Tried to hide the overnight bag so sweetheart wouldn't see it but got busted upon landing back home. Told him all about it. chuckling to myself now over it. Not going to worry him if no need to I told him. He got it but wished i had.

Anyway folks. I was worried yesterday and your the only one's I tell about this kind of thing so uh, that's it. I suppose it is selfish of me to lighten the load a little this way but something tells me it's alright

blimey cold here. I look like a yeti sitting by my fire in the living room, breathe swirling around me on every exhale. Stay warm folks

nico, you and your gbffl look like you could be bro and sis. there are foods you can eat that help you sleep, nico check that out instead of relying on medications.

woody, damn that must have been scary for you, glad it was nothing and you're doing alright now.

woody: Glad everything turned out alright with your dr's visit.

@Exeter: Definitely gunna look up on the food thing. I picked up some valerian root at the health food store over the weekend and shit worked like a charm. Didn't really make me sleepy but just helped me relax. Slept 6 hrs straight without waking up which hasn't happened in almost a year. So thx for suggesting that woody.

Today has been decent. Rainy and cold but can't complain. Mom and Rocco are in town so I'm stoked to go home tonight and eat some of my mom's home made lasagna. They're here till the 24th and then we're flying home together for Thanksgiving. It's crazy to think it's next week already..

I think we do allot of good here everyone. Just wanted to say that. I've looked at other forums and from all I've seen, this one here with many of us seems to offer such a wide array of insights, almost like we've got it all, from all aspects right here on the cyber space board of anonymous members. pretty flippin cool if you ask me.
hope everyone's well today

Today was great. Yesterday even better. Went back home to Chicago for thanksgiving since Nan didn't want to fly to LA to my rents place. I don't realize how much I miss it there until I'm physically there...if that makes sense. Here's a pic of me and my dad's side of the fam last night:

We the life of the party haha. I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving with their loved ones.

You always look happy and the life of the party in your pics, nico. Where do you spend your Christmas hols?

Up early this morn going to do a yoga workout by the water with some Gfs in 2 hours then after getting brunch together. ( looking forward to having a coffee then and lots of eggs and bacon.)

@Exeter: I bet your drunk uncle was entertaining as **** haha. Do you have a big celebration for Christmas too? And damn what a question ha. Idk man..I think I'd have to with Chicago. Going back for thanksgiving really made me miss it. I even textd gf and was like "why did we ever leave??" Haha.
anya_may21: Thanks I try to keep things lively haha. Usually I stay in NY for Christmas. Go to the gf's family's place a few hours away and then visit friends. What about you? Got any big Christmas plans?

Had last night and today off. And I'm beyond thankful for it. Work has been kicking my ass. Got to spend some quality time with the gf and the chickens

Here's a pic of gf and I out to dinner last night:

We like hats. Haha.

Hope everyone is having a great day so far. I'm looking forward to doing a lot of lounging around today. Netflixing it up..

Your brother is good looking too, nico.

You look awesome with your head shaved, miss the longer locks on your head, especially in your cold winters I reckon you'll get cold?
The hat pic with the gf is cool lookin pic too, you both got lots of style going on

I am doing not much today, off work, no classes, just bumming around and doing shopping and decorating for the rest of the day and then dinner with my dad.
