    Organised a date-now no contact??

So I recently met this guy in my drawing class and we kind of hit it off straight away. Last time we met there we had a great time together and after we finished we then spent the rest of the afternoon together going for drinks and even did some sightseeing. I had no doubt that he was completely into me, mentioned he's single and dropping clues of how he would like to see me again/go out somewhere etc. In the end we agreed to go on a date and exchanged numbers. we texted a bit after that and decided what day to meet. After that he didn't initiate contact anymore, which I find strange. Surely if you like a girl you'd keep that connection flowing. Or is there some rule I don't know about, like don't text before meeting for a date?? :-D I'd just like to know whether this is something normal. I don't feel I should be the one initiating contact, especially if I was the first one to text to begin with?

he probably just doesn't want to appear to be clingy or over-invested. Don't over-think this... you have a date set up, right? just wait it out, or text the day before to confirm.

I would want to limit contact immediately before a planned date as well, especially if it was someone I didn't know very well. Text him the night before to confirm your date. If you get no contact THEN, yes, be worried, but not until that point.

Some people just do not like text conversations and prefer to have great conversations in person. See how the date goes.
