    What should I do?

I asked out a guy in person and he said Yes why not. He explained that he was very busy but that we could go out sometime.
I asked him out on Sunday and wrote him on Tuesday suggesting two dates to meet up. It's gone 2 days and he hasn't opened the message on Messenger. He's online often.

What do you think I should do? Is it just that he's busy? Should I continue waiting?

I think two days is not enough time to adequately say if he is or isn't truly "busy." It could very well be that something is going on in his life for those two days and though he is marked as "online," he may not be actively checking his messages. For example, sometimes when an app (such as Facebook) is open or looking for something, it may appear that the user is online, even though he is not.

I would wait a few more days and only really message again if it is shortly before the two days he noted. If he insists on saying he's "busy" however, it may be code for "interested, but not really priority," which you don't really need in your life.
