OR do you keep it private from social media, family, and friends altogether?
I personally don't use Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Tumblr, or anything like that. I just can't be bothered to document moments in my life for social media purposes, nor do I expect people to be that interested in my life, anyway. I prefer to just live the moment and, maybe, photograph it just for myself. So no, I don't exhibit my relationship on social media at all. When I used to have a Facebook account, I didn't enjoy seeing pointless pictures of other people's relationships and daily life, either.

My husband is on Facebook, but he only uses it to keep in touch with family and friends. On the rare occasion when he does post something, it's definitely not pictures and news about our personal / daily life.

I used to use social media. To me, it was a great way to keep in touch with friends and family who you may not get to see as often as you'd like. You can keep up with what is going on with them and keep them up with what is going on with you. .....

Thing is, after a while, social media just started to remind me how much people in general are selfish a-holes. I got so sick of liking/commenting on my friends' stuff only for them to never bother to do the same for me. Don't get me wrong. I'm not one of THOSE people, so to speak, but it just gets frustrating seeing somebody who posts things like a million times a day, yet they can't be bothered to pay one millisecond of attention to anything I've shared. Not only that, but more often than not, those are exactly the people who start b*tching that nobody ever comments/pays any attention to their stuff. Hypocrite much?

Social media just served to remind me why I hate people, so I mostly gave up on it and don't really use it much anymore.
