50/50 chance. Sometimes if there are so many fights, that it's a sign that you shouldn't be together in the first place.

No, it's not so much a rumor as it is wishful thinking.

It depends. A lot of couples fight and break up and get back together, only to stay comfortable in their coupled misery. Most often those relationships don't work out. Very rarely do couples split up and come back together, stronger than ever. The couples who have managed to make that work, dedicate all of their energy and focus on repairing themselves first, and then repairing the relationship as a couple. It takes a lot of work, and effort, and energy to get there, but it can happen; just not very often.

I actually believe in true love and soulmates and I think it only can work again if both want it and still feel the same passion and love equally.
