Hi...

My name is Apache (online name anyway).

I spent 25 years in the most God awful marriage ever, finally
realizing that happiness was still possible in my life.

I met a lovely woman, who also was in a unhappy marriage.
(she had almost 30 years).

And no...we did not have an affair together, as both of us have
values. But we helped each other cope with things, I seperated
first (about 3 years ago) with her seperating a year later. Early last year
we both realized that we loved each other, and have been together
ever since. She is my soulmate for sure....one of them anyway as I
have always believed that there are many walking the earth. And I feel
very lucky to have found one of them.

So there it is....marriage is always a possibilty, but for now we are
both quite content in enjoying each other completely. We compliment each
other's lives in a way I never thought possible. It still amazes me at how much more you can succeed at life with the right person standing at your side. Both of our careers have blossomed into success beyond our wildest dreams.

And love exists after 40....lol.

You are correct in what you imagine, misombra. EVERYTHING in affairs of the heart becomes easier after 40. All the bullshit just falls away like a shed skin.
