Texting and not responding

Hi guys,

Just wanted a guys opinion.
My ex keeps messaging me to ask how I am but when I respond he blanks it or acts really cold.

It was his choice to break up with me we tried the remain friends thing but kept fighting so pretty much stopped contact. He every now and then will text me short messages about where he is (when he went to a party) like he wants me to join,he would suggest to meet up for breakfast and a chat then not contact me the next day to confirm it and randomly ask how I am. When I respond there is no reply or if I get annoyed with him he says plz leave me alone. I'm not trying to date him just being civil. I'm now going full no contact but just wondered what this behaviour is all about?'

Maybe he wants to check if you blocked him or read them and by replying he has what he wants to know and no reason to reply, just a thought.

Sorry, that sounds like jerk behavior to me...I would make it clear that you are friends, and if he want to chat etc, then do it. But tell him if he keeps jerking you around, then you will block him... good luck!
