Hello ladies I am 30 years old and been dating a great girl for roughly 3-5 months(its complicated) haha. We took things slow and made no labels and just let things fall as they may and before long the boyfriend/girlfriend thing kinda came into play and I couldnt even tell you an exact date. We started off friends hanging out all the time and it became what it is. I am very serious about the girl and I can safely say I love her and that I believe she is the one. Neither one of us has said the dreaded "I Love You". When we first started talking she always said how she had been burned and how words like that lost its meaning because of the guys who said it and never meant it so its whatever. Well it means something to me and I want her to know im for real and I mean it. I am going to tell her christmas that I love her and im trying to think of a way how....One time about 2 months into knowing her she said she needed a hug but at work we cant do that so I left her an XOXO note on a piece of scrap paper and she kept it and still has it which I thought was nice. My idea is to write I love you on a little piece of paper and put it in a wrapped box and when she opens it sees what it says ill tell her in my own words "I love you" and then add a few little things I think she might like to hear....Is that idea stupid or is that something you would like to have happen to you? (shes told me in the past she is a mush)
