I enjoyed The Haunting of Hill House for a television show and for a movie most I would say I liked best 3 have not been released here yet, so out of movies released I liked Annihilation with Natalie Portman.
One favorite anything is often hard for me to pick. For TV shows, though, both Sabrina and The Haunting of Hill House were strong contenders for sure.
For movies.... yeah.... Deadpool 2. That one was easy. LOL!
Castle rock ( botched ending though) and The Haunting of Hill House ( 100%) for shows on TV in 2018.
Movie, Hm, maybe - a small movie but I really liked it, was called Puzzle - CHECK IT OUT IF HAVEN'T SEEN IT and a bigger movie I liked would have been : A Quiet Place

Puzzle... Haven't even heard of that. Wonder if it is on the Netflix.
i enjoyed the ben stiller true crime miniseries escape from dannemora for tv and for cinema i enjoyed upgrade and avengers: infinity wars.
When I tell the truth, it is not for the sake of convincing those who do not know it, but for the sake of defending those that do.
William Blake
Probably.. Hereditary (horror/thriller).
Can't really think of any others. Big Mouth was a pretty funny show, the humor is hit or miss with most people. For me. It was a hit.
Sabrina, Hill House and Castle rock for tv hard to pick one.
Movies, A Quiet Place and Green Book
“The world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love as unconditionally as a dog.”
Z Nation isn't getting renewed for a sixth season. That's kind of sad. It was a good alternative to that OTHER zombie show, despite the way lower production costs.
I forgot to say Sharp Objects as a favorite 2018 TV show.
TV -- same as Exeter Dannemora miniseries was best I've seen.
Movies -- Ballad of Buster Scruggs was good and Hereditary too.
Life is a song - sing it. Life is a game - play it. Life is a challenge - meet it. Life is a dream - realize it. Life is a sacrifice - offer it. Life is love - enjoy it.
I am sorry to hear that. I loved Z Nation. To me, it was a different kind of zombie show. It was intentionally not as serious and somber as The Walking Dead. Which I think was a good idea, If they just tried to be a Walking Dead knock-off it would have just been white noise. Instead, it was campier, goofier, funny even. Which is why I loved it as its own separate thing. I think I still liked The Walking Dead a tad better, but I am sorry to hear Z Nation won't be continued.
I hope they knew that filming this season. Nothing I hate more than a show ending on a cliff hanger.... and then getting cancelled so we never get to know what happened.
What is everyone thinking about the best picture noms that came out? I checked to see through this thread if any of us had a movie they liked in the noms and only Lovebroken did with ~ Green Book.
How are the ones of us who liked & wanted Hereditary to get a nom feel? A Quiet place was shut out too.

Lol, yes, I was thrilled about the movie, actors and others were nominated.
Hereditary and A Quiet place got snubbed.
