sure, i had very crazy thoughts - none that i ever will have again, but it was just a phase i went through...........maybe that's what it is, that might make more sense
otherwise he is probably gay, but as others have so aptly suggested, you may want to, to the rather contraray communicate your thoughts about his involuntary behaviour toward the inferior sex, and find out whether his conclusions based on his answers support the hypothesis of the others that your friend is indeed gay.
