In a relationship you need a healthy balance. You can't expect her to "follow" you. It either happens or it doesn't. You can't force anyone to do anything.

There are no guarantees in a relationship. Just enjoy it while it happens. If you worry too much about the future you will drive yourself nuts. Just live in the present and focus on that.

If your that insecure shes gonna break up with you again.....and thats a constant worry on your mind......then your either gonna drive yourself nuts or your gonna be that insecure where your gonna be seen as possessive.

"Forever Love" is a wonderful concept.....but lets be realistic. It doesn't always happen that way. I mean yes thats the plan but things happen. We either get past them or we move on. Its reality. So I say just take it a little bit at a time. If you worry too much about the future....your not gonna enjoy the present.

I mean she dumped you to begin with right, which means there was something about you or the situation that she didn't like. Have you changed much since then? Probably not.

I agree with this. So unless you can remove this worry you obviously have, you will never have a strong relationship. Mis-trust is quite often a reason for relationships ending.

Your friends are probably concerned about things they saw in the relationship which made you unhappy, and dont want to see you go down that path again. I doubt their concerns have much to do with your "she's done it once-she'll do it again" concerns.

I also agree that this will make her think she has control over you.

Look at her littler finger... Are you wraped around it?
