I believe Cybog did recieve a PM from someone in reference to the thread. Which I'm pretty much assuming was a complaint, correct me if I am wrong.

Maybe I need to be more clear: I don't think I broke any rules. I didn't personally attack anyone. I voiced my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe I should make myself more clear. Whether you THINK you broke any rules or not, you may or may not of offended someone. Now, regardles if a mod thinks there is or isn't something wrong with the thread, he must take into consideration the complaintee (is that even a word?) feelings.

Even so, knowing that the argument was going to go on forever because neither side was willing to budge, how long were you exactly going to go about arguing your point?

I don't know, maybe as long as the other side kept arguing their point. but you're right, I was the one who was wrong.

Oh you also seem to have a superiority complex when it comes to age. With the forum made up let's say 80 percent of people under the age of 21, your not going to last that long with that attitude

Actually my reply didn't mean to infer that I am superior. Just that in the "real world", things work quite differently then here or in any controlled environment (read: school).

In no way did I mean to come across with that attitude. However, a good quote: "the older I got, the smarter my parents became".

Exactly in the "Real world" things may work differently. However this isn't the real world. Different set of rules apply.

However, I do see where you are comming from. Like someone previosuly mentioned he must of been pretty sensitive to take offence to it. But, I can see reason why. How would you like it if someone come across and told you what you are, what your feeling isn't real? I can imagine it's not a very nice feeling.

I already said I have no reason to explain myself any further, but apparently it's not sinking in to the slow crowd. Kiechi has pretty much already summed it up. But just for emphasis, you need to realize I didn't point you out personally Lloyd, other than the fact that your opinion was flawed in your "transitional blah blah" of stating an opinion.

Either way, once a thread DERAILS and becomes nothing more than 2-3 people ranting at each other about things neither of them are going to agree on, the thread dies and has become pointless. If you want to increase your post count, rant and rave or express your opinions, fine. Go start an "Asians-3" thread and post until you get sick of it.

When lilwing started posting about techno music and it went into a "What is gay and what isn't" discussion, and people started getting irritated or insulted by it, it closes.

The real problem here lies in the fact that people are taking it too godamn personally. All parties involved. I wasn't attacking you personally Lloyd. And you probably weren't intentionally attacking lilwing. Either way, the thread got closed for the aforementioned reasons and that's that.

Not because I have a chip on my shoulder or I don't like anyone. I hate most of you anyhow, so stop taking it so personal.

I read the thread you are (probably) referring to, and I have to say that maybe it was just me, but I didn't find what you wrote to Lilwing (?) hostile or offensive; I really only thought you were joking. I would have just laughed if I were him. But, you know, young kids are fairly sensitive about these things. Still, I was surprised that the thread was closed; I've seen much worse. Maybe a thread only gets closed if someone complains...

oh yea to answer your ?, this forum is not open to the public, it is only open to the members(i mean posting wise and crap). but guests and visitors are free to look at the forum.
