Speaking of FEMA and the President, I just realized yesterday that he "downgraded" FEMA from being it's own federal agency to being a part of Homeland Security, and is being run by a couple of his college buddies who have no experience in disaster relief.

What a bonehead. Who voted for this guy, anyway? SOMEONE had to, and it wasn't me.

Well, after this, we can all see the Homeland Security is a joke. what if this hadn't been a flood, but a "dirty" bomb? There's no evacuation plan, it takes 5 days to get aid (food and water) and just as long to get the National guard. Unfreakinbelievable.

Oh, and most guys I work with on the Stock Exchange voted for him.

Has anyone seen his Press Conferences? You'd think he'd show some somberness, sorrow and leadership. All this guy can do is smirk. Agghh!

I think his smirking is due to him being embarassed....I mean, who WOULDN'T be embarassed that it takes them 3 minutes to get out a 5 word sentence! I really thought that his press conference was weak (which is pretty much how I feel about him as a leader of this country...) and I can't blame the American people for being upset and angered with him and his cavalier attitude!

All the people who voted for him (I certainly didn't) are now eating those votes....

He may (unfortunately) be FL's governer...I didn't vote him into office....Jeb Bush is an idiot too....althought, I do have to admit, I was rather impressed with how he dealt with Florida's hurricane disasters last year....at least when Jeb Bush speaks, I felt that he was being sincere....but personally, I think that the whole Bush family is inbred...

George W. is LAUGHABLE when I hear him speak...he sounds like some nervous teen giving a speech who keeps losing their place.....personally, I think George W is making a mockery of America every time he speaks publicly......I think the rest of the world must be just laughing at us when they see him!

The only reason I would see to loot.....is for essentials to live. Like food, water, clothes, shelter. I mean stuff YOU REALLY NEED in cases like that.

NOT tv's, dvds, namebrand shoes, jewelry. etc.

Also on the topic of George W. Bush. I really do not think that it would matter who the president is. Not like Kerry would have used the Kerry force to prevent the hurricane. New Orleans was just a neglected city in its need and every president would be confused during these moments.

What the hell does "help" mean? It means people who rescue people . New Yorks police and fire dep. came and helped....so were is the New Orleans help?...Ill tell you...Lady goes up to a police officer and asks for assistance..he tells her "Its every man for him-self lady"...pathetic...

True....not necessarily would Kerry have handled it better....I mean honestly we can't say..... But when someone hesitates that long....its pathetic. I mean ......Bush sat in a classroom for 7 min reading to some kids....after hearing about the whole 9/11 incident. What kinda moron is that? I'm sorry if he didn't want to be rude by leaving the kids....but honestly....its part of his job and he just sat there with a dumb expression on his face.

Then this(Katrina) happens and he waits days before sending anyone down there to help.... He then decides after checking it all out that they need help and funding etc. I mean any other NORMAL, HUMANE human being would have been on top of things and would have thought of ways to get help down there ASAP. The whole point is there was no effort made immediately. I mean at least show some effort.....and he lacks that. Too busy vacationing many many times a year.
