Popping the question!!

I am a 30 year old woman and have been dating my boyfriend Allen for 6 years, 5 of which we have lived together. We have talked about getting married but he hasn't asked me yet. On 2/29/04 I intend to pop the question to him.

Here is my problem, I have no idea how I am going to do it yet!! Does anyone have any ideas they can share with me? I am not sure if I shouldn't bother with a ring, get me a ring, him a ring or what. If I should do it at home or out somewhere.


I am a nervous wreak!!! If anyone has ideas please let me know..........

actually i was thinking of doing it myself.

but I think he will say no...say i'm still deciding on it. But I have heard that getting a ring for the guy but not buying the ring urself...

Yes, I do think he will say yes. As I said before we have talked about it. I was going to wait until he popped the question but he is taking his time doing it. So, I decided that I will ask him on leap day since it happens only every 4 years...at least he will remember what day I asked!!!


I am not sure if I want to do it at home or out some where.
