    What to do?

    I am new to this site so let me first say Hi! Now my dilema....I have been dating this great guy for five years now(actually it will be five years next week) We were really good friends before hand for two years. We love each other very much and have been living together for three years. We have talked about getting married, he knows I want to get married and he dosen't disagree, he says that he does also and it will happen...The problem is that he has yet to propose and he won't talk to me about what he is waiting for or if there is something that is stopping him. Please help, any advise would be much appreciated! Thanks

    If you're sure he loves you, wait it out!

    My best friend was just in a very similar situation. They'd been together about five years and it really seemed like he had no interest in getting married or was at least seriously procrastinating. It turns out that he had been saving up money for 18 months but didnt want her to have ANY clue. He let her get mad over and over when she asked him about it because he wanted the element of surprise. And yeah, she was really surprised. LOL. I am not sure about your man because I dont know him, but maybe if you dont talk about it he will relax and surprise you. I wish you the best!!!

    I know, I have been trying not to bring it up lately and ever since I stopped he has started talking about it out of no where. On the other hand, he also says that we can't afford to get married when I bring it up...when he knows full well that my father plans on paying for the whole wedding! I am awfull confused...I just don't know what to make of his sudden remarks lately and its making me more anxious. Thanks for the feedback.
