This is something I wrote today, my thoughts on life after all that I've been through in the past seven months.

Today is the begining of the rest of my life. I am starting anew and my goal now is to make the best of my life from here on out. One of the most important things for everyone to remember about life is to live life to the fullist and never let it get away from you. Make the best of everything you've got and better yourself using setbacks as motivation and look to prosperity for your inspiration. Never take anyone or anything for granted because it could all be gone in one moment, because of that you must cherish your loved ones every minute of your life and always let your friends and family know you care about them, not just on special days or trying times but when they least expect it. Live life for every moment and live in that moment because it's never good to live in the past or daydream about the future. Let the past be just that, the past and don't dispair over it but let it teach you about yourself. Let the future come to you instead of trying to force it because just as John Lennon once said, "Life happens when you're busy making other plans." Plan loosely for the future and live with what's in front of you.
Everyone has rough times but one must overcome the tough spots in life to succeed and become better. Never let anyone push you around or tell you who you are, you be who you want to be and don't ever let anyone tell you you can't be everything you ever wanted to be. Dreams and goals are what drive us and we must never let them go. Keep reaching for the stars and make the best out of any situation by telling yourself that the universe tends to unfold as it should. Never let the bad outweigh the good because no matter what happens, things will always get better, even if you have to do something to make them better.
Many things change over one's lifetime and it's something that everyone has to deal with and adapt to. You get comfortable in one situation and sit back and you don't realize that you are being the best you can be and that you need to be. Always make yourself better for yourself and for no one else. It's your life and you live it how you want to. Treat others as you wish to be treated and be good to those in your life. When change presents itself, roll with it, don't fight it because it's going to happen no matter what you do. People will come into your life and they will leave your life for whatever reason. Everything happens for a reason and everyone is in you life to teach you a lesson about life, about yourself or both and if you don't learn that lesson, then their time in your life went to waste and no person's meaning should be left in a wake like that.
Just remember, live like you'll die tomorrow and dream like you'll live forever. Don't let anyone take advantage of you and always stand up for yourself. Life is what you make it, follow your heart and let God guide you as he will never lead you astray. Always believe in yourself and never let others bring you down. Live your life for you and for no one else.
