seriously, if you have to stay home because of the cold that truly sucks...pretty much same here.

Yeah.....thats why I hate winter. I like being outside and doing things...and actually being comfortable.... I have like seasonal depression or something. In winter I get really depressed.... Sigh.....so its all gonna begin soon....

Lubbock, as I recall, is in the northwest corner of Texas, otherwise known as the pits of hell...

Why is it so bad? I just remember I ate the BEST mexican food down in Texas.... And it was always warm there.......

Yes, we have great Tex-Mex. Lubbock isn't so bad, it's just blah looking and there isn't much to do here

I like it though, I like the variation, the change in environment, helps you appreciate the summer that much more when you're freezin your ass off shovelling the snow from your driveway! ;p

Texas = whole state full of Bushies, not to mention Waco... On the other hand, they do have football at the University there, and I like San Antonio...

True.... I always notice how happy I am when Spring comes and it starts to get warm....and then by the middle of summer Im all like....enough already....and tend to take the hot weather for granted....until it gets VERY cold again.

Like today I think its cold because its 65.......but if it would have been 65 in March I would have been all outside with a t-shirt and shorts....and would have loved it!

Sounds like a plan!! My mom actually went to Florida all of Jan and most of Feb. a year ago... I was so jealous. She missed the worst parts of winter...
