congrats, Zekk ...

if you have any local classified sites to look up in your area, they're great places to get free unwanted stuff from rich people ... from dressers to couches to fridges to dishwashers, etc ...

here in the bay area, we have www.craigslist.org ... it's basic as hell, but you can find sweet deals on sites like that ...

Dude Lloyd, don't make fun of my mom's house. She's lived there fo'evah.

Great advice tooshort, I actually found a couple good places for some pretty inexpensive appliances that aren't junk. Sounds like what you were describing.

haha you could look on ebay too. Last night I won a fridge for $9.99, it's like 6 years old and needs to be cleaned but it's going in our garage so it's not like we needed a brand new one or anything. We just have to go and pick it up!

IMO..i feel that a house is always better than an apartment.. you don't have to share walls with your neighbor.

And I can finally turn my subwoofer back on. Danged things always caused problems with neighbors right through a wall or floor but now I don't have to care!!
