gifts and girls -what do they expect

was talking to a gurl online-who said that one of her ex bf the richest one bought her a 350 fendi wallet , and when she goes shopping her other ex bfs have bought her items-not exactly sure what. this also other girl i talking to online-said her bf a painter gave her 100 dollars to spend to go shopping she said she wanted nike shoxs. i told the other girl this and shes like ah what only 100 dollars. lol
is this normal behaviour for guys to do to girls give em money to shop and buy em things or is it jsut for some.

ok guys have u ever dated or been wiht a gf were u spend and bought em stuff while shopping.i mean u guys go mall shopping to look around and she wanted this dress and u were like ah ok i buy it for u-lets say its 270 bucks-do u do it or do u say ah NO.

or something like that do u buy girls stuff while u are shopping with em. do girls even expect this from a guy they are dating.

and when do u give gifts to a girl during the time u are dating em-after the 5th date or what.... and what do u give em-not the richest guy.

Joe - avoid girls like this unless you want to be used. You need not buy gifts for girls at all until you have been dating a while, and you should NEVER feel pressured to spend more than you can easily afford. Don't take girls to the mall for dates, either. It will be easier to avoid this kind of trouble.

Wow I've never been on a date to the mall either! lol I think that would be weird if my bf gave me money to go to the mall. He's not my father and I'm not 14.

If a girl expects a relationship to be about what material things she gets out of it, it's not really a relationship she's looking for. It's a handout. I know plenty of girls that think it's perfectly ok to keep a guy around simply for his money, even if she feels nothing for him. The only good thing about these girls, is that their intentions are pretty damn obvious......so any guy fool enough to fall into (unknowingly) is just dumb.

MY advice to you, is if she's not impressed with small, cheap, yet thoughtful gifts.....you need to ditch her ass as quick as possible.

Wow, sounds exactly like an ex-friend of mine. She was like "Any man I marry better buy me a ring that's worth more than his car. Otherwise, he's saying his car is worth more than me." I was like ok *****, if you think that way, his car proabably IS worth more than you. Run, buddy, run!!

Yea, he was a nice guy from what I remember too. He saved for close to a year to buy her that thing. Things are still going ok for them. Its non of my bussiness so I really dont say anything around them or anyone else really in preson. I would run personally.

How old is he? That's a ridiculous amount to spend on a ring!
