First Post; Rant

Hey everyone. I hope you guys don't mind me ranting here a bit, I need a place to talk.

Basically, my GF and I were in a long distance relationship. I live in Upstate, NY while she lives in Windsor, ON, Canada. We recently broke up because of the distance, and she didn't really want a relationship at the time. I love her with all of my heart, and I undersand all of this. I am still in love with her, and I deep down truly feel that she is the one. I feel that God destined it.

The break up is just hard. She said she still loves me and promised one day we'll be together again, but just a little while ago, we were talking and she seemed fine. This sort of discussion came up again and since that point (maybe 30 mins ago) she hasn't said much of all, and she seems upset about it. When I asked her, she said it's nothing and that she is fine.

Does anyone have any advice?

You should try to move on and stop asking her if you two will ever get back together.

I agree with Junsui. Also, the part where you say you feel "god destined it" kind of creeps me out. You aren't going to turn into a stalker, are you?

Yeah, anytime we're extremely infatuated with someone we feel it was meant to be... blah blah - "I know we'll be together someday.."

Chances are you probably won't be. Unless one of you are willing to move (which would probably be you, Mr. 'I'm so in love') so yes, move on and find someone who lives in Upstate NY.
