    what to do...

...say you get the courage to introduce yourself to someone you are interested in...and you get information to contact that person. when you ask to hang out and stuff like that. what's the best place to say to go or what to do? dinner? movies? coffee? or just watever? i dont know what to say or where to suggest we go to get to know each other.

Well if you're nervous or don't know her well, just take her for something small like a drink (coffee, whatever), or maybe a meal - this way you'll talk, movies wont be great if you don't know her well cos you can't get to know her. Plus if you take her for a coffee or something (ok not romantic but still) it'll give you a chance to make your excuses and leave if it's not going so well, same with her - you can hardly walk out of a meal.
Maybe when you get to know her a bit better, figure out what she likes more - if she's a quite active person then ice-skating is nice, if not then movies and a meal - or even cook for her
And in the end, the love you take,
Is equal to the love you make.

All of the above, depending on seriousness of intention.

not quite sure how seriousness of intention works...

Lunch, coffee, or a cocktail are good ideas for a 'first' date, if you don't know the person well. I agree movies are a no-go for the first few dates, because you don't get an opportunity to get to know each other. If you find you don't like each other after coffee or lunch, you've only wasted an hour or so, and not a lot of coin, as in dinner.
