Philly Cheese Steaks...

It's the small corner type places that have the good cheesesteaks.

Yeah, the small chain cheesesteak places have good cheesesteaks.

But it's the small hole in the wall places that really know how to make 'em.

I'll be COMPLETELY honest with you. This is the FIRST time I've been to Philly. I've had cheese steaks before - and they're great!

But, having said that, the philly cheese steak i had today was INCREDIBLE. So delicious. Does Philly get better steak? What is it that makes it so good? It must be better quality steak - i can't think what else.

plus, they LOAD it with Steak!

The place i went to was a corner place joint. quite small. there were relatively busy for 9:30pm. You could tell it was a HOT SPOT. the owner must've weighed at least 350 pounds - he was HUGE! but he DID look like a chef. and it seemed his family worked there. i guess i'm blown away by it, because i'm not use to this kind of stuff back home.

back home, we just go to chillis or someother resteraunt. We DO have snack places - but most of the food is terrible. I kind of wish i lived in a city, I LOVE to eat quality food! and it seems it's all concentrated in the downtown areas.

LOL... I eat philly cheese steaks all the time here but I have had several in Philadelphia and they are excellent!

two blocks down, i saw this spot to eat - i forget the name of the place.

The BEST cheese steak!
