Y morirme contigo si te matas, y matarme contigo si te mueres,
porque el amor cuando no muere mata, porque amores que matan nunca mueren
I saw this back a while ago in theaters, I imagine it should be coming out on DVD relatively soon if it isn't already. If you enjoy Miyazaki's other work then you'll no doubt adore this. Not the deepest anime I've ever seen, but it definitely does get you feeling for the characters and is very well animated (as Miyazaki's films tend to be). All in all, I'd definitely recommend you see it if you haven't yet.
PS: See that scarecrow in the middle of the poster? BEST CHARACTER EVER!!
Heit ist mein taug.
yep the scarecrow is very good , but I also liked the dog and the fire.
The strange thing is that I canīt find it without subtitles, and there (in spain) itīs not in theatres or dvd...
did you saw it in japanese with subtitles? I really really want to see it in english or spanish, but my only option nowadays is internet... not theatres
I remember the first film of miyazaki that I saw many years ago was Laputa, the castle in the sky.. but I wentīmad when I realized that he was the same of Chihiro to Sen (Spirited Away) and Howlīs
Y morirme contigo si te matas, y matarme contigo si te mueres,
porque el amor cuando no muere mata, porque amores que matan nunca mueren
Actually, when I saw it in theaters it was dubbed with English voiceovers. I'd actually prefer to snag a copy with the original japanese voice acting and english subtitles. I prefer anime untampered with but this movie wasn't butchered as far as dubbing it into english.
Heit ist mein taug.
thanks zekk
i donīt really mind reading the subtitles, but in this case i donīt understand a word of japanese.. well , kind of arigatoo and a few more words thatīs why i was hoping to find the film in english at least.. but i think itīs going out on dvd on march 2006
Y morirme contigo si te matas, y matarme contigo si te mueres,
porque el amor cuando no muere mata, porque amores que matan nunca mueren
I looked it up, the english dubbed (and subbed) DVD is supposed to be released March 7. I'll definitely be picking up a copy too.
Heit ist mein taug.
Hada, I don't know have You watched it or not, but I can Recommend You Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi (Spirited Away), it's also Hayao Miyazaki film/anime and it's one of my favorite.

MEJOR PELICULA ANIMADA (best animated film I supose)
- Howlīs Moving Castle
- Tim Burton's corpse bride
- Wallace & Gromit in the curse of the were-rabbit
Y morirme contigo si te matas, y matarme contigo si te mueres,
