Aieeeee!! This is going to degenerate.

    Remember who said this:
"Opinions are like assh*les. Everyone's got one and they all stink!"

Sometimes, LF is like standing in an elevator smelling someones fart... we'll all sniff and pretend not too. And sometimes we're the one who farts. In the end, its all just biology, tho.

HAHA... I haven't been mean at all or not playing nice you guys! You guys know me better than that!

I just think it's rude when newbies don't really understand where the regulars are coming from and they are quick to assume. So they insult other people and they don't didn't even read the whole thread. Not that I care, but you know me, gotta stand by my LF members (unless they are way over the line)!!

Do you really think human understanding comes from sitting around chatting on a forum? And if so, I'm sorry.

i think human understanding can come from chatting in a forum.

in fact i do believe that is what a forum is for, to come to a better understanding. this forum is about love and dating and sex, and everybody shares their thoughts, thereby causing other people to understand them.

if you were nicer to people, perhaps an understanding could form.

i'd also like to add that people read books and are often brought to a better understand about life, and you never get to correspond with the author. what's the difference?

    Human understanding? lol, oh goodness.

All I said was Newbies don't get where some of the regulars are coming from when they make their comments, and they are quick to assume they are just "jerk's" as was posted in a previous post.

Anyways, I do agree with you sombra! Human understanding comes from everything including forums. If your here long enough you get a pretty good picture of how everyone feels about certain subjects and why! Not to mention a good perspective of them in general.

And again, I never insulted you kristonia that's not my style...so your smarty pants remarks to me are not needed! Thank you!

This post is ambiguous, gang. Its possible she is just apologizing. I would think so, otherwise she's just arguing senselessly. Lets assume so (all is forgiven) and move on, huh?

'Sombra. Great points. Agree w/you as usual. Even better about forums like this is they're interactive and you get the collective experience. Can't get THAT from a book, which is usually just one or two authors opinions.

Pretty much true. I'm not here to burn everyone, I was simply stating my opinions before. But for the future, I think it's possible to be new and understand what people are saying. Maybe I was unsure where people were coming from, but I'm still capable of stating my opinion that everything is off topic and of defending the poster, just as any of you are. If it's all about opinions, stop attacking the "newbie"!

Craps! I miss a good "discussion."

Anyway, a lot of newbies always do this "attacking" the newbie thing. And those usually leave pretty fast.

What's the difference between chatting around on a forum, and chatting around table? Do human understanding only come from face-to-face contact?

nope, it usually comes from experience. now, before you start ranting about me not knowing how experienced people are, i'm going to correct you in advance- i was saying that i was capable of understanding where people are coming from even though I'm new because i've still had the same kind of experiences that people are talking about. also, i've been warned that double posting is frowned upon by rosebud, so take heed i suppose! however, the whole "attacking the newbie" discussion is over, shall we not reopen the annoyingness of it all?

Ugh, Kristonita! Artyemi is the last person on this forum who would "attack" you. She is one of the nicest, least controversial posters ever. Her question was genuine.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
