Seriously! Ok I'm 26 and I did all this stuff from the ages of 16-20. And while I still feel as though I'm young how is it still "cool" to eat shrooms or trip on acid or drop E or whatever? (had to use correct terminology)

I'm not saying I did this stuff to be cool but as I remember people around me were also doing it and there was all kinds of peer pressure at that age, not that it was my excuse(since I know why I did those things) But seriously who is in their twenties or older and still doing all these drugs (not speaking of weed)? I see a problem with that!

I don't care if someone else wants to do drugs. Some people lack the strength to face life without self-medicating. I just don't want them driving or committing criminal acts to support their habits, and I don't care to hang out with people who are into this life style.

Why does age matter? I think it is sad that people from the ages of 10-100 are doing E's and shrooms. There is a strange lie going around that adults can not do what teenagers can and thus it leads to sayings like " he will regret that he did not enjoy his youth", well, I dont get it, what is it at age 25+ that I can not do that I can now? While this is very true.. my original point was that it's even worse when people who are older and should have outgrown or matured over this matter, are still engaging in these activites. I'm sorry to say this but I can understand kids doing drugs.. whether I condone it or not, which I don't. But when it comes to someone who is older, and well aware of the affects, and consequences..I expect more of them..

Excuses are used to gain sympathy and get out of the situation. Understanding is giving them upper hand over the consequence as opposed to an adult, also known as sympathy. Figure it out.
