Just try to be open. You are perhaps shy or modest but throw anything at him. You can start by asking him what he is interested of doing in the future, what he studies, what he did last week........There are many ways to start a conversation. You don't even necessarely have to be the conversation starter. Doesn't the guy talk? And if so, just follow the flow.
I must say that I have been pretty lucky with meeting guys who are easy to talk to. It shouldn't be just you starting the conversation all the time....but both of you. Usually you just play off of each other and then get each other to ask more questions etc. Its always a good thing when theres a nice flow to the conversation. Hopefully it all worked out for you. Keep us updated!![]()
Appreciate the good times and learn from the bad times....
Thanks for the tips.
Well, the date went really bad. I was the one talking most of the time. And when he did talk he was talking to the wall beside me lol. We didn't click at all.
However, i have a new problem. He knew it was a bad date and he doesn't want to give up. I've told him he's a nice guy and it's a shame we didn't click. How do i let him down without hurting his feelings?![]()
Ha, I know how you feel! I went on a date about a month ago.......and the guy kept looking over my shoulder when he talked to me....or staring off at something else. I mean the conversation was ok.....but I didn't see us clicking.
But he did....
So I let him know that I thought he was a nice guy....but that I didn't feel we had that chemistry..or enough in common to take things further. So basically I was up front and honest. And even though it may should like a bitchy thing to do.....its alot better then stringing a guy along that you have no interest in whatsoever.....
