Fleeting Dream

The night breeze stings my darkened flesh
My mind as cloudy as the dawning skies
Pale impressions shoot through the rainbow clouds
Leaving no trace, but a lieu of memories

Closing my eyes your face strikes by
Leaving a blood smear in my soul
All the times that I failed to grasp
I look back now and cry inside

Yet I know, by the divine laws
That fate or destiny in its will
Dictates that what not must be
The fleeting dream within me
