    First date goes well.

Hey everyone sorry for the late update. If you dont recall my story it's just a bit down the page. I'm not able to post links untill post 15.

We went for coffee and it went great! When I got there she was already there waiting for me. 8 AM (Very early date) We got our coffee and food and sat down and just had a really good convo. Talking about school, jobs, friends and family. Before I knew it was almost 10 AM. Chapters connected to Starbucks was now opened and she asked me if I wanted to come in with her. I figured what the heck, lets come out of my shell a little bit. We then got talking about our favorite books and authors and again this started another good conversation. She ended up picking out a few book and I just got a magazine.

She then told me that she had to go and pick up some things for her house and she had a good time. Then she gave me a hug and told me to call her again sometime.

For me this was really one of my first 'dates'. Like I said in my last thread I'm a very shy person when it comes to girls. Even though it was only a hug, it was great. It felt like she meant it. Since this has all happended I've been feeling really good. Thinking about her and wanting to see her again.

    Good! Very good!

    Things to work on:
-End the interactions with her FIRST. Don't let her tell you that you have to go.
-Be just a taaad more on the cocky-funny side. If she tells you to call her, say something like, "don't tell me what to do."
-When you call her (wait 2 days) tell her you might be able to fit her in later. Don't act as if your schedule is completely free.

I'm glad it's working out for you dude!

Oh wow that's awesome. Well done.
To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love; but then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer, to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love; to be happy then is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy; therefore to be unhappy one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness. I hope you're getting this down.

I'm really glad you posted an update! It sounds like a great first date. I like the picnic idea, too. ^
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

    Good man good man!

Next time will be easier, less stressful. At least now you have the ice well broken and you know something about her. You can find out how she enjoyed those books etc

Thing is now........how long to wait to call her again!

I'm keeping tight liipped on this one........ziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppppp!

    Keep us updated!

I'll keep everyone updated for sure. I'm actaully thinking of something like coffee again maybe. What are your thoughts on that? Should I mix it up a bit more. Also there is a football game comming up very soon. Thats something I'd really like to do for sure is go to the game with her.

What sort of football game? Does she like sports? If so, then yes! that would be a great date.

**** yeah! Football games are great! You get to be a loud-mouthed and pompous asshole, get really excited, jump up and down, and yet at the same time enjoy a nice conversation with her.

Besides, if you don't like the expensive-ass nachos you find at the games you're a failure.

Probably. I sat in the car with Megan's mom for an hour and 45 minutes in front of my house just talking... and easily hour-long phone calls... Mom freaked out, let me tell ya....
