yup. it's extremely good for your digestion. There are a few different strains of the 'friendly' bacteria (Lactobacillus?), but basically they live in your body and protect you from bad stuff.

if you type "[URL="http://www.google.com/search?q=define:%20thrush"]define: thrush[/URL]" into google, most of the definitions are of an oral infection.
But to answer the original question, derm's link seems to say you can get it from sexual contact, so I guess that's a yes.

Thrush and vaginal yeast infections are caused by the same bacteria. They are only named different things because of their location in the body, otherwise they are the same.
