    my dilemma

wow i've actually got something to post, and here in dating. the guy that actually loves to live the single life ah? well here goes, being a good guy is really hard, i'll admit it.

here's the situation. i've been digging on this girl ever since is started my new job in last june but i guess that i never really got to know her all that great. all this time up until now, we only talked at work, nothing more than mere co workers. and she does have a bf, he also works with us as a chef and both her and i are waiters. nows here's the tricky part. yeah one day i got drunk at work and then i was talking to another co worker this and that. then i tell him how pretty girl is and he goes and tells her what i have said. i have no regrets because later he comes and tells me that she is digging on me too and she have been looking at me since i started.

now the problem. we have cruised a few times since then and i know that she is interested. i'm interested in her too. liquor does have it's ways and when she's dancing close up on my it's hard to resists temptation. however i don't want to be the bad guy and break up a relationship. they are having their problems, yet i still don't want to interfere. i'm thinking that soon i should talk to her and tell her to straighten out her shit with her bf first because i'm not looking for something quick. hoenstly i would rather not get hurt down the road and i'm not looking to break her heart either. emotions are a hard game to play, and i figure that this might be the best solution. talk to her before shit hits the fan. well tell me what you think. raverboy

I looked at this post about four times to make sure that it was STARTED by illusional. I didn't believe it at first.

I think you're doing the respectable thing. Let her straighten out her shit between her and her boyfriend. No reason to get involved quite yet.
well tell me what you think
I think so far, so good. Chill with her if you want. It's just if I were you I wouldn't get too involved until the other guy is out of the picture.

The other guy must be pushed out of the picture before you two can become a couple if you want to be a healthy couple that is. If not she will just run back and forth between you two. Definetly talk to her.
One day the Moon said to me, "If he makes you cry, why dont you leave him?" I looked up at the Moon and said, "Moon would you ever leave your sky?"

DAMN.... i'm on cloud 9. yeah i just had to say that. well i'll admit that it's been a long time since i felt this way. last night, yeah again i was with her and again i was drunk. i had that talk that i was supposed to have when i was sober but overall i think that it went well. i explained to her that i knew she was still with her bf and i was scared about what was to come. i told her do what she has to do, and she admits that it's not always easy to do what you want to do. i told her take her time cuz i'm not in a rush to do anything with her, i still wanna get to know her. then again, i also told her that i'd wait for her. hahahaha. i guess the main thing is that i was honest. raverboy

If you were you tired of the love bullshit you wouldnt have told her youd wait around. So you are growing up. But you do know to NOT wait around forever. Life is too short to hang on to one person if its not mutual.

Obviously theres something but can I make ONE suggestion...try to leave out the booze one night and see what really happens!!

Congratulations Illusional on making your (I believe) first post in the notorious dating forum. My goodness.

Well, I think it's up to her. You can't really break their relationship unless she allows you to. Know what I mean? Good. Now secondly, I know this sucks, but girls flirt all the time, regardless of whether they have a boyfriend or they don't. Yep, we're bitches.
I have it all. Including kino.

yeah.. i was really thinking this over and i think that i'm being selfish. i'm putting her in a situation that is probably harder on her than it is on anyone. i think that overall i should relax and leave her for a bit. raverboy

You are not being selfish. Your request that she ends shit is only reasonable. Now you gotta discontinue it with her until you're sure she did that. And decide how she's gonna let you know when that's done.

Also, being sober around her once in a while would help, if you wanna get to know her better.
