That thing look like it cost an easy $200 if the diamonds are mid to high grade, and/or the maker is a well known one.


But I did pretty well for Christmas this year. I got the following:

- A book on body language
- Nintendo DS Lite
- Measuring cups*
- Measuring teaspoons*
- Dishes*
- Pizza cutter*
- Can opener with bottle opener*
- Candy
- Junk food
- $3,000 dollars
- $10 movie gift card
- Lowering springs for my car (I bought this one)

The items with an * are for when I move out of my moms house. I know I am sooooo spoiled. But hey there are people my age that are even more spoiled than I, and more than likey they will waste any money they get within a month. The 3k I got will be invested in a high interest savings account and will be left there making me money off the interest.

Yes 3k is a lot of money. And it is most probably a lot of money for someone my age even, but I think you may flip if you even knew the ball park of how much money I have of my own (No I am no millionaire by any means). You see unlike may other 22 year old people who are in debt or spend their money on worthless stuff, I handle my money a lot better than them by far. It helped that my rich parents taught me how to manage my money and how to use it and invest it. They also made me buy my own clothes, shoes (they are not cheap by any means), bill(s) (I had two bills but now I only have one), and anything I want as soon as I had a job.


vashti - No it is not lol. You know how expensive the houses are around here. Ya they are dropping finally, but still. I don't even have 60k to spend on a house. Yes both parents are willing to help me get a house, but I think I need to get closer tho.

odd, I don't think 3k is that much money. it's a lot to get for xmas though and for trivia, decent houses here go for about 250 to 400k.

I forgot to mention in my last post was that I need at least 60k plus money from my parents for a down payment on a house, this not including a bank loan. All of this for a small house. I just checked a real estate site and the cheapest house closest to me is $255k and it is 591 sq ft and its a condo.
