    Is this odd?

I was just wondering if it was odd for a guy to give input into something that is well into the female side of things. The reason I am asking this is because my mom is making a blanket for one of my younger cousins. She has been asking me for input on what colors and what you to use on the blanket. Now so far my input seems to be helping and is making the blanket look much better. I have no problem giving input, but even my mom finds it funny that for a guy that is not gay nor into fashion or artisitc I been able to give pretty darn good color input.

I see about posting a picture of what has been done so far on the blanket, and I can point out where I have given input.

I don't think it has anything to do with anything. I simply think you may be good at giving help with colors and blankets.. lol But I can see how someone may think it is odd though.
There are moments when one feels free from one's own identification with human limitations and inadequacies. At such moments one imagines that one stands on some spot of a small planet, gazing in amazement at the cold yet profoundly moving beauty of the eternal, the unfathomable; life and death flow into one, and there is neither evolution nor destiny; only Being. - Albert Einstein

I would only worry about this if you are so involved with choosing colors that you can't tolerate someone else (like your future wife) doing it. Men like that make me cringe.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Hey as long as my future wife does not try and make the house very female, there will be no problems. And yes I know about how females can be like when it comes to their "nesting".

How delightful to see two guys in the same thread with an interest in their surroundings. This is not gay AT ALL. This is just evidence of the fact that you're using more of your brain than the typical guy.

You know- that typical fast-food-eating, watching-the-game, baffeled-when-his-hot-wife-leaves-him-for-you guy.

Good for you, Jurupa. You too, Aegis.

I am not actually interested in my surroundings, its more that I am very observant, and will point out things.

Heh heh, Lilwing. Good question. Typical woman: IMO, she likes to shop, is emotionally manipulative and chroically unhappy.

    Guys? What do you think?
