Did I screw up my chance?

Hey everyone,

I just came back from a date that went horribly wrong!

My friend, Aly, tried to hook me up with this guy name Steve and we've talked online for the past few days and we were talking and shared pretty personal information and stuff like that. He's told his friends about me and some positive stuff and I really do like him too.

Tonight was the night I finally got to meet him and he was just so much more than I expected. It was me, him, Aly and her boyfriend, Trevor. Aly, Trevor and Steve are all really good friends.

I was SILENT the entire night! I just got so nervous and I liked him too which made me even more quiet. He was laughing and joking around with Aly and Trevor but didn't really talk to me. I felt so stupid.

I'm one of those really shy girls and I haven't told him that BUT i did tell him before that I am really quiet around guys that I like.

I tried my best to make eye contact and we did and I was always smiling. But the words would not come out of my mouth.

It helped that we went to watch a movie and I titled my head to his side and he titled his head to mine. I thought that was sweet.

When I came home, I told him (online) that I had a great time, thanks for everything and that I'm sorry I got so nervous. Before, we would carry on the conversation but he's not talking to me now.

Did i blow my entire chance with him? I really do like him and I hope he understands that.
