What can I say about me? I'm a big, big romantic, who believes (hopes) in eternal love and all that good stuff, though day after day I am confronted with disillusionment.
I've never been in a serious relationship, partly by fear of having my heart broken (lame excuse, I know) and partly because, well, I never had the guts to tell a guy I was interested in him. And well, perhaps I've never really been truly interested in a guy before. Whatever the reasons, I'm still waiting for my hero to show up. But I'm beginning to think maybe if my prince does not appear, maybe I should change strategy and go after him, which is why I'm here, on these forums.
Other than that, I'm studying in mathematics and physics. Yes, I know, that sounds like a desperate case: one of my college teachers, upon learning i was enrolled in a math degree told me that there was still hope for me, socially, afterwards!!! But as strange as that might sound, social life in math&phys is quite vibrant, and the best part is: there are a lot of guys

and they're not all your average geek stereotype. But that's not why I'm in math: i'm in math because I'm a tiny bit geeky myself, and I'm lovin' it!
I'll end here by saying that I'm glad I discovered this forum and hope I'll have a good time here
PS: i actually discovered this while looking up the "kissing problem", which despite the name is a famous mathematical problem. If anybody cares, the question is to figure out how many spheres of a same radius you can arrange around a given sphere, and how.
