Ok, so I've been smitten. Two days ago I met this girl that my buddy Steve liked a lot. Her name is Kyra (pronounced kee-rah) and she's really cool. There were 5 of us at a little get together at my house. Steve drank a pint of Jagermeister in under 5 minutes so he ended up passing out really early. The other two people (Nate and Stephanie) took a liking to one another and went off to spent some time exchanging saliva elsewhere. This left me and Kyra alone, we went to my room and talked for hours, probly around 3 or 4 hours. We talked about deep stuff and never got tired of just talking to one another. I think we both felt some kind of connection there. It was a fabulous time just talking but at around 5:30 AM they had to head home. Last night the 5 of us reconvened. Steve didn't drink hardly any so he was conscious the whole time and ended up being a total buttpipe and doing nothing but bitching about how no one was paying attention to him and was trying to get Kyra alone to talk to her about "them" even though they never dated and Kyra made it clear she didn't want to at all. So he got pissy and left. We all bid him good riddance as he was REALLY wearing on our nerves. Well at this point we were all tired so Stephanie and Nate went into my brothers old room to sleep and Kyra asked if she could sleep with me. I said it was fine. We talked until we started to dose, then we cuddled, then we touched, then.....some other things. Nothing major but just really emotional and passionate kissing and holding. It was so amazing. So now I think I'm smitten with her. I'm taking it easy seeing as how we just met and I'm trying not to invest too much emotion into it but she's just one remarkable girl. I don't really have any questions or anything I just wanted to share and see what you all thought of the situation.

Oh, and this thread is named Akira because that's what I was calling her. Since it sounds exactly like her name with an A at the beginning and she liked my wallscroll in my room of Akira (anime movie).

Yeah, it's really remarkable. Even if things don't go the way I'd like I still made a very wonderful connection and am glad we got the chance to share some fabulous time together.

Zekk she sounds like a great person. You clicked that night-and who knows-go for it! Life is too short weve talked about that one before. When you connect with someone dont let it go out of fear. Im kinda facing that now-Im staying no matter what happens.

Anyhoo-if youre friend and youve talked about it-and shes not into him and youve got something with her-then why not? Sounds like they never really went out anyway...go and have a good time...but dont let a good friendship go to hell because of it either. Friends will always be there and girls will always come and go...but hell if you connected go for it Zekk! GO FOR IT!!!!

It makes me really excited. I know this could blow up and shrivel away as most things have but it's just so exciting right now. And yes, the two of them never had anything together. He wanted to get with her and she was never remotely attracted to him. To be honest I don't think she would even be talking to him if she didn't feel sorry for him. But yeah, she's remarkable. I hate getting my hopes up but it's just so exciting.

Yes.....Xanadu. How old is that movie anyway? I saw it later on video. Never went to the theatre. LOVED the name.

She can't hang out tonight but she said she might call so we can chat it up later. It's so funny losing control of my emotion like this. I just want to see her and hold her again so badly.

Kind of a sappy movie really. Chick Flick, I guess you might say. It was at the height of Olivia Newton John's popularity. It was a musical of course. She played a muse (yes, a real one.......Zeus' daughter), called Kira who brought inspiration to this album artist. It was a sweet story. He gets the girl in the end.

Good things already have happened. This is the first time I've been able to wake up and have a gorgeous girls head just lying on my chest and I just looked at her and couldn't stop smiling. She looked like an angel in her sleep. It was an amazing feeling.
