Ewwh. No raisins. That's not how I make it. Some sofrito sauce, diced 'taters, a handful of spanish olives. Mix it up with some ground beef and serve over a bed of steamed rice.

I live in Maryland, not the mid-west. My family's from Cuba and Spain, so I learned several such dishes from them. Cooking's fun occasionally.
