It sounds like she just doesn't care any more.

She didn't bother to say more than a few words, and didn't call you when she said she would. Things may come up, people forget. But if she really cared, she would have called to at least say more than a few words before her trip where she wouldn't even get to talk to you.

Like it was said before, this may be just a stage. But it sounds like the relationship is about as close to being over, without it being official. You could try to salvage it by having that talk with her, but it may not work.

If it's any comfort, the emotional tug-of-war should be less prevalent the older you get, and so should the puking in cars, but that doesn't really help you right now.

It sounds to me like your relationship is heading into a downward spiral. At least one of you has to do something to stop this, and I'm sorry to tell you that taking care of her when she has a hangover isn't enough. Somebody has to set a tone of mutual tolerance, here, and I doubt if the PMS monster is up to the job.

A question, though: are you really sure you want this girl? She sounds like a royal, puking pain in the ass. The fact that she wants to have a "Where is this relationship going?" conversation every so often and you've only been dating her since September is a huge red flag. And, again, so is the puke.

Thank you all for your responses. At this point, I think I will just have to wait and see what happens when she calls. I think she should apologize and I'm not sure how I will react when she probably does not. She is not that much of a pain in the ass, and she rarely drinks (which is why she puked). It's true though, I always feel like I have to try with this girl. We should be past the "I'm-rare-and-sexy" stage by now, and be free to talk openly.
