I found out recently that my ex had started smoking in the house around my daughter and I went apeshit. I couldn't believe he would do this, after 11 years of being forced to smoke outside. Did he think that was just because I wanted my house not to stink?
Reportedly, he's stopped. Back to the porch, Smokey.

i asked him kindly to not smoke in the house once and he hounded me pretty bad.
"THIS IS MY ****ING HOUSE AND I WILL DO WHATEVER THE **** I WANT IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT THEN SLEEP OUTSIDE"
i think it's kinda silly because he doesn't pay a damn bill and he didn't put a penny into the house.
Philadelphia has a smoking ban.
And now Pennsylvania is trying to make it state wide.
I'm opposed to it.
What do you mean? A ban in public buildings? We have that here. When it first went into effect, smokers were up in arms, but they got used to it. I actually favor no smoking in restaurants.
Now, individual cities in my area are banning smoking in public parks, on the beach, and on public sidewalks. I think that is carrying things too far. Personally, I find dog crap left on the sidewalk more offensive than someone smoking their cigarette in public.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
eh, cigarettes should've been made illegal when we first found out how bad they are for you.
I disagree. Then again, I favor legalization of all drugs.

in all the states i've lived in..it's been illegal to smoke in most buildings..but then i moved to missouri where they have designated smoke areas inside a lot of buildings..you can just TELL how unhappy the people sitting in the room are. They catch all kinds of nasty looks

yeah, I kinda agree vash. it seems unfair that alcohol and nicotine are legal when less harmful drugs that have actual medical application are illegal. It has nothing to do with the drug, but the industry and big business.
I guess so.
my mom was actually kinda against the smoking ban in ireland, because she said that the tax money the government was making on that would then have to be made on something else. but if someone is addicted to having two packs a day, they'll keep buying cigarettes even if they can't smoke inside.
drugs, and cigarettes are pointless to me.
i don't get it. smoke up, bitches.
