if you want to get a more positive result, you need to act more mature, if she how old are you if you don't mind me asking, the thing is that she seems to be fairly mature just going from what you said, so just walking upto her and asking her out will not surfice, you really need to dwell deeper, make her attracted to you. Its not enough for just you to like her she has to like you too!
