so...it's a proposal for a proposal??
Sounds like you had a great night and I'm happy for you and it's good that you talked about marriage, that's completely normal. Although, actually saying you'll propose later sounds kinda redundant... but hey, I wish you luck![]()
Do your parents know that you are dating him yet?
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
^
oh vashti! way to pop my bubble.
we're still working on that part yet - it's complicated ..it sounds a lot different reading this then it actually is. i can't just tell them
That's very sweet! The ball is in your court now, isn't it? Great. Now is the time to tell him your Plan for the Future.
If I were you, I would include things like you have to graduate before he officially asks you to marry him, and your parents have to be eased into this whole thing, and that at the wedding, somebody has to beat your brother to a pulp (little punk).

my brother? *confused* why?
yeh we're both at uni but he graduates a year before i do so i'm finking this is enough time to ease everyone in to it.
Wasn't your brother threatening to rat you out to your parents?
Yep, here it is:

ooooooh lol ye
You are going to be a great addition to the divorce rate statistic.
"Why are you an atheist?"
"because I paid attention in science class."
^^ pffffft
i will not be a divorce statistic.
people in the world can get married and stay married you know.
aaaaand i admit i am emotional ..sometimes..but that doesn't mean i can't control it and get on with my life.
ergh.
it just sounds funny that you're so happy about the THOUGHT of being possibly being proposed to in a few years ...
Even a proposal isn't a guarantee for marriage ...
And guys, marriages CAN work ... stop hatin' of us married-folk...
no autographs, please!
