    What should I do?

There is this girl that I have known for 2 years now. At first, the only thing I wanted was the friendship, but recently I have realized that I have strong feelings for this person. She is always in my mind. The problem is, she currently has a boyfriend, and he happens to be one of my friends. I've tried dating other people, but she has stayed on my mind to the point where other people just don't matter as much. What are your suggestions?

I'm in a similar situation you are (one difference: she's now broken up with her boyfriend but doesn't want to date). What I was told to do by people here, and what seems to be the only thing for you to do, is to just "let her go" temporarily. I know that it is impossible to get her off your mind (I'll never get my love interest out of my head) but nothing can really be done. Maybe you'll meet somebody who you like better.

And maybe down the road she will separate from her current boyfriend. Are they pretty close? Is there anything to indicate that they might break up? Either way, don't do what I did and just sit around waiting for them to break up. Don't give up hope totally, but keep on living your life. It's hard, but I wish you luck.
