Well, like the title says, I need some help. I'll start off by saying I'm a junior in college. I've, I guess, noticed this girl around campus that I'd like to get to know. We're are no more than acquaintances at the moment and I'd like to change that. We've had a class together before but at the time I wasn't looking for a relationship. Essentially, she knows who I am and I know who she is but other than that there's no form of a relationship between us what so ever.
Like I said, I now would like to get to know her yet I'm having trouble with finding a way to do that subtly. She's not in a serious relationship at the moment but she is "talking" to someone.
I don't want to just go up to her and start talking just because that would be awkward especially when she is usually with a friend or two of hers. I'm not looking to ask her out on a date; I'd just like to give her someone else to consider (me).
In my opinion, the best thing for me to do right now would probably be to just let it go and wait for a better opportunity if it presents itself. However, I'm having a hard time doing that. So, what do you guys think? I know there may not be a whole lot to say about this but it'd still be nice to see what you guys would do if you were confronted with this situation.
