    What do I do?

I met a guy on a car website.. We mostly liked to pick on each other through the forums and joked around.. Well Hes in the Airforce and was stationed in New mexico at the time. So in no way did i think we would ever meet or even go out.. He came back to CA where I am and where his parents live to visit his family before he went off to korea. He's always made me laugh even before we met.. So he asked to go out with me the day before he left and I said no then i thought he has to leave no way can it get serious or complicated.. We went out and I had a great time . So he left and I was ok with it at first.. Now hes in korea and we e-mail, talk and im all the time.. I fell in love with him and he says it also. I dont think I can deal with the distance issue though.. I'm having some issues though.. the distance is really starting to get to me... any ideas?

Well if youre really into this guy hang on...long distance relationships are difficult. But if you look at the positive side of things it becomes easier to cope with. Youre establishing more of an emotional bond-and you'll learn to appreciate that person much more than if youre together everyday.

You know the old cliche "absence makes the heart grow founder" so true. It will be a good test of your trust for one another. And also could really test your faith in your relationship. Keep in contact as much as possible...and make plans for when you can see eachother-make that time for him...do special things while hes away-I mean for him-cards pictures things like that-if you can keep this special it can work but it has to go both ways!!!

As always Squirrely is the voice of wisdom . . .I've done distance before and while it's not fun it is doable. And thre's tons of opportunities to show what a thoughtful wonderful person you are by how much attention you shower down on him while he's gone.
